Reuter recently built a 16' Principal made of polished zinc, as part of a 30-rank pipe addition / casework project to a five-manual digital organ for the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, GA. This 16' Principal is unqiue in that special mandrels were ordered so the bodies of these display pipes could be built in one piece, with the only seam being the solder joint on the back. Now installed, these pipes appear completely seamless as they stand in towers spanning the width of the sanctuary. All Reuter 16-foot ranks previous to this set had to be built in sections.
