Reuter Organ Company scales back operations

                   Tours are no longer available!

Reuter Organ Company has recently scaled back operations in Lawrence, Kansas. The 78,000 square-foot building that was the company’s home since 2001 was recently sold to Harvesters, a regional Feeding America food bank. With many key management and shop personnel concurrently anticipating retirement, the logistics and realities of continuing operations on the same scale at a new, more appropriated-sized facility was determined to be impractical.

Albert Neutel, Jr, is continuing the Reuter brand on a smaller scope. All contracted projects are being completed in a more modest, local shop. He will also continue maintenance and tuning services, consulting services, and work on selected projects.

We appreciate the support of the innumerable church, university, and residential clients we have served over the years. We thank you for your patronage and the cordial relationships that have developed in the course of our endeavors. We are proud of the long legacy of Reuter instruments that remain as a testament to our work together, and we are grateful to our devoted employees and representatives that have made this possible.

Our Installations

Pipe organs are strongly associated with places of worship. In addition to playing solo literature and use with other instruments, they accompany choral masterworks and lead congregations in the singing of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Whether an organ is intended for a church, synagogue or concert hall, Reuter instruments enhance the musical traditions of our clients.
